Green Cleaning Tips for Your Bathroom

Going green is not only the eco-friendly choice, it can also help save you money on traditional cleaning supplies. We've included a few simple steps that you can use to help "green clean" your bathroom.

- Say goodbye to sink stains and hello to the fresh scent of lemon. In lieu of bleach, just mix equal parts water and lemon juice, and use it to give your sink a good scrub. The lemon will help remove any tough stains, and will also leave a pleasant lingering smell.

- For a ring-free toilet bowl, pour approximately half a gallon of white vinegar into the bowl and let it soak overnight.

- To sanitize and clean your bathroom fixtures and sealants, simply apply rubbing alcohol to a dry cloth and gently rub away grease and grime.

- Clean away soap scum in your shower or bathtub. Soak a sponge in white vinegar and give your shower a good scrubbing. The vinegar will help cut through any build-up, and will make your job much easier. After cleaning, just rinse your shower thoroughly to reveal the spotless results.

Try the above green cleaning tips and do yourself, your bathroom, and the environment a favor. We think you'll like the results.
